Professor Participates in the Meeting of the International Working Group on Comprehensive Reform of Basic Education in Mexico

Dr. Denise Vaillant, Professor of Educational Policy in the School of Administration and Social Sciences and Coordinator of the GTD-PREAL-ORT project, participated on September 7 and 8 in the Second Meeting of the International Academic Working Group on the Comprehensive Reform of Basic Education in Mexico. The meeting was attended by prestigious specialists in the field of education from Argentina, Canada, Costa Rica, Colombia, Cuba, Chile, Spain, and Mexico.

Dr. Denise Vaillant, Professor of Educational Policy in the School of Administration and Social Sciences and Coordinator of the GTD-PREAL-ORT project, participated on September 7 and 8 in the Second Meeting of the International Academic Working Group on the Comprehensive Reform of Basic Education in Mexico. The meeting was attended by prestigious specialists in the field of education from Argentina, Canada, Costa Rica, Colombia, Cuba, Chile, Spain, and Mexico.

The working group was created in late 2008 with the aim of conducting a comparative analysis of the Comprehensive Reform of Basic Education. Its tasks also include formulating recommendations based on lessons learned at the international and Latin American levels.
