On December 3, the screening of the short fiction film "Besos en la boca" took place in the Auditorium of the School of Communication and Design. The film was directed by Pablo Martínez Pessi, a graduate of the Bachelor's program in Audiovisual Communication and a faculty member at the school. The short film was produced with funding received after winning first prize for his short film "Los aviones" in the "Corten: una por el arte" contest organized by Cerveza Patricia in 2008.
In 2006, Mr. Martínez Pessi founded the production company Gabinete Films, through which he has produced 16mm and video fiction short films, as well as documentaries that have participated in festivals and been broadcast on television, both nationally and internationally. In 2009, he released his first feature-length documentary, titled “Desde las aguas,” which will be part of the 2010 regional showcase of Efecto Cine. He works freelance for production companies, serving as a producer, director, screenwriter, and editor.
