His focus on modern journalism has led him to cover political, economic, and social conflicts and events in various countries. He participates in the training of Latin American journalists and has delivered several lectures in the United States and Latin America on journalism and electronic media. He has published various academic articles on new trends in journalism, including “The Reality of the Digital Divide in Latin America,” “Latin American Journalists: Perceptions of Their Profession,” and “Journalists and Conflict Coverage.” He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Florida International University and a Master’s degree in Journalism from the University of Miami.
