Fabián Kozynski, a telecommunications engineering student, received a one-year research initiation grant from the National Agency for Research and Innovation (ANII) to work on the optimization of peer-to-peer networks, the topic of his senior thesis. Meanwhile, Fernanda Laguarda, an architecture student, received a research initiation grant for her project “Laminated Eucalyptus grandis Wood Beams: Mechanical Characterization and Prediction of Their Bending Behavior.”
The goal of this ANII program is to strengthen the country’s human resources capabilities. The scholarships are awarded to give young people their first experience of engaging with the dynamics of research.
