"Between the Lines" Lecture

On Thursday, November 11, the Faculty of Architecture hosted the lecture "Between the Lines," presented by Horacio Flora, an architect and faculty member who is also a partner at GFRS, a landscape architecture firm.

On Thursday, November 11, the lecture "Entrelíneas" was held at the School of Architecture, presented by Horacio Flora, an architect and faculty member who is also a partner at GFRS, a landscape architecture firm.

The speaker has received the following awards: 

  • First prize in the international competition “Preliminary Designs for the Banco República”; the Federico García Lorca Cultural Space, a project selected for the Uruguayan Pavilion at the 11th Venice Biennale and for the exhibition on Contemporary Uruguayan Architecture;
  • First Prize in the international competition "Groen Hoek, East River Community Boathouse Competition";
  • 1st Prize in the “New Library of the Uruguayan Notaries Association” competition; project selected for the exhibition of young architects at the 6th Ibero-American Biennial of Architecture and Urbanism (BIAU);
  • 2nd Prize in the Escollera Sarandí National Competition.
