A student was selected to attend the Character Animation Producer's Showcase at the invitation of CalArts

Flavia Terragona, a student in the Bachelor’s Degree Program in Animation and Video Games, was selected to represent ORT University at the Character Animation Producer’s Showcase, hosted by CalArts (California Institute of the Arts), which will take place in May 2011. The student was selected by a jury composed of Jesse López (CalArts faculty member and visiting professor in the Bachelor’s Degree in Animation and Video Games program), Alejandro Erramún (Academic Coordinator of Multimedia, Animation, and Video Games), Oscar Aguirre (Academic Secretary of the School of Design), and Victoria Barreiro (Animation faculty member).

The students presented a project to the jury in which they demonstrated their skills in animation development. The CalArts Character Animation Producer’s Showcase is dedicated to showcasing students’ animated work to professionals in the animation industry.
