Conference: "The European Union and the Mediterranean: What Do Europeans Want from Their Neighbors?"

On Friday, April 1, the Faculty of Administration and Social Sciences hosted a lecture titled "The European Union and the Mediterranean: What Do Europeans Want from Their Neighbors?" presented by Dr. Marcos Farias, a professor at the Higher Institute of Social and Political Sciences at the Technical University of Lisbon. The event was organized by the Department of International Studies.

On Friday, April 1, the Faculty of Administration and Social Sciences hosted a lecture titled "The European Union and the Mediterranean: What Do Europeans Want from Their Neighbors?" presented by Dr. Marcos Farias, a professor at the Higher Institute of Social and Political Sciences at the Technical University of Lisbon. The event was organized by the Department of International Studies.

Dr. Farias holds a bachelor’s degree in International Relations from the Higher Institute of Social and Political Sciences (ISCSP) at the Technical University of Lisbon (UTL). He holds a master’s degree in European Studies from the same university and in International Relations Theory from the University of Aberystwyth. He holds a Ph.D. in Social Sciences/International Relations from ISCSP-UTL, where he teaches courses on Contemporary Political Thought, European Integration, Introduction to International Relations, the Post-Soviet Space, Advanced Methodologies for International Relations, and Foreign Policy of the Great Powers at the undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral levels.
