From Thursday, May 19, to Tuesday, May 31, the exhibition “Reflections, Transparencies, and Textures” will be on display at the School of Architecture (2633 España Blvd.). The exhibition was organized by Workshop 1 of the Bachelor’s Program in Interior Design, led by instructors Architect Antonio Del Castillo and Architect Jorge Migues. The exhibition is the result of a month of work by the workshop students, during which they explored the qualities of the three elements included in the exhibition’s title.
The process culminated in the creation of three two-dimensional models for each of the aforementioned elements, plus one model that freely combines them, all displayed on individual sheets of paper. Added to this is a “magic cube,” a three-dimensional element installed as a freestanding piece in the space, inviting visitors to explore its faces, which are also covered with experimental models created by the students.
