An Industrial Design student's project was selected for the "TalentosDesign" international competition

The "luminarias nautiLUZ" project by Diego Weisz, a student in the Industrial Design program, was shortlisted by the jury as one of the 50 best entries in the 2011 edition of the Banco Santander Foundation and Universia design competition, the world’s largest sustainable design competition. Hundreds of entries from around the world were submitted. 

Diego Weisz, a student in the Industrial Design program, had his "luminarias nautiLUZ" project shortlisted by the jury as one of the top 50 entries in the 2011 edition of the "TalentosDesign 2011" design competition organized by the Banco Santander Foundation and Universia, the world’s largest sustainable design competition. Hundreds of entries from around the world were submitted.

In June, the jury will select a winner and five runners-up, and in September, the selected prototypes will be displayed at the competition’s exhibition in Madrid.

The project was developed as part of the degree program’s Integrative Project, which was part of Recreación11, led by professors Gabriel Crosa and Alejandro Trinidad.
