Communication student wins the "Guillermo Waksman" First Prize in Political Journalism

Marcos Rey, a student in the Bachelor of Communication program, won the (shared) First Prize in the "Guillermo Waksman" Political Journalism Contest—held as part of the celebrations marking the 25th anniversary of the weekly newspaper Brecha—for his piece "Izquierda (in) segura."

The jury for the "Guillermo Waksman" Political Journalism Award consisted of Rosalba Oxandabarat, Director of the weekly newspaper Brecha; Roberto López Belloso, Editor-in-Chief; Daniel Erosa, Political Editor; and Álvaro Pérez García, Society Editor.

As part of this award, Rey will work for three months starting in August as a freelance political journalist for the weekly newspaper Brecha. The article will be published in the Friday, August 19 edition.
