The fundamental problem of philosophical anthropology has been the study of humanity and its understanding of the world. Within this framework of reflection, humanity—as an unfinished being—seeks to compensate for the limitations of its existence through the transformation of nature, including itself. Therefore, the processes by which the world has become increasingly artificial turn out to be a strategy of anthropological compensation; however, in this process, humanity suffers a radical disconnection from the world. We do not yet know the true dimensions of the human being that has emerged from its nature, modified with the aid of technology. In her lecture, Prof. Bernal analyzed the role of the media in creating a hedonistic and transformative model of humanity.
