Professor was named a Distinguished Lecturer of the IEEE Control Systems Society

Dr. Fernando Paganini, professor of Telecommunications Theory in the School of Engineering, was named a Distinguished Lecturer of the IEEE Control Systems Society.

His nomination was made by the Executive Committee, chaired by Prof. Ian Petersen, the current Distinguished Lecturers Chair.

The appointment is for three years, with the expectation that one academic trip per year will be undertaken under this program.

The Distinguished LecturersProgram offers the opportunity to attend lectures by internationally renowned speakers, which are of interest to both industry and academia.
