Conference: “Wood as a Structural Material for Construction”

On May 24, 2012, the Faculty of Architecture hosted a lecture titled “Wood as a Structural Material for Construction: Argentine Standards and Regulations for Wood Structures,” presented by Alfredo Aníbal Guillaumet, Ph.D., a full professor in the Structural Engineering Department of the Civil Engineering program at the National Technological University (UTN) in Argentina.

Mr. Guillaumet is the Director of Research Projects on the Properties of Wood for Structural Use at the UTN. He previously served as Dean of the Venado Tuerto Regional Campus of the same university. He is the author of numerous technical papers.
