The delegation attended the presentation “Opportunities in the ICT Industry in the Southern Cone” by Marcel Mordezki, Academic Coordinator of the Master’s Program in Technology Business Management, as well as presentations by Dr. Gerardo Matturro, Research Professor in the Department of Software Engineering at the School of Engineering, and Enrique Topolansky, Coordinator of the CIE (Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship). The delegation visited the Biotechnology Laboratory, where they were received by Carlos Sanguinetti, M.Sc., Academic Coordinator of Biotechnology, and Dr. Lorena Betancor, Research Professor of Biotechnology. They also toured the facilities at the Pocitos Campus and the Downtown Campus.
Dr. Patricia Corbo, Academic Secretary of Engineering, and André Fonseca, Professor of Analog Electronics and Automatic Control at the School of Engineering, held a meeting with the delegation.
In addition, the visitors toured the new Ingenio facilities at the LATU (Uruguayan Technology Laboratory) Technology Park, accompanied by its Director, Engineer Rafael García.
