During his visit, he was welcomed by the president of Universidad ORT Uruguay, Prof. Charlotte S. de Grünberg, the rector, Dr. Jorge Grünberg, and other university officials.
Singer met with students from the exchange program with Harbin Normal University (China), attended the opening of the new library on the Pocitos Campus, and watched a short selection of films created by students in the Bachelor’s Program in Animation and Video Games.
He also visited the Biotechnology Laboratory and held meetings with Israel’s ambassador to Uruguay, Dori Goren; the president of the Central Israeli Committee of Uruguay, Roberto Cyjon; the president of ORT Uruguay, Rafael Rosenberg; and the Minister of Education and Culture, Dr. Ricardo Ehrlich.
