April 30, 2013
A project on distance learning for adult educators in various regions of Peru with Internet access, led by Mónica Stillo, a professor of Contemporary Thought in the Bachelor’s Program in Communication at the University of Corrientes, was selected in April 2013 by the “ICT for Pedagogical Development” program for e-learning projects run by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency ( SIDA), Life Academy, and Stockholm University. The program aims to provide training in the management of pedagogical development and ICT projects. The training will take place from May 21 to June 13, 2013, in the cities of Karlstad and Stockholm (Sweden).

Ms. Stillo presented the project in collaboration with the Peruvian organization CIESI (International Center for Interdisciplinary Studies), which is dedicated to providing education and training opportunities in the areas of sustainable development.

Ms. Stillo’s project was the only one selected from Latin America, alongside 20 other projects from Asia and Africa.
