May 23, 2013
The set of exercises submitted by Alejandro Adorjan, assistant academic coordinator of Systems Engineering and a student in the Master’s in Engineering (Research Track) program, and Dr. Inés Kereki, professor of Programming in the School of Engineering, won one of the top prizes in the “Single-Problem Exercise Set Competition” of the PRECITyE Program (Regional Program for Entrepreneurship and Innovation in Engineering). The results of the competition were announced on May 14, 2013.

This proposal includes some of the exercises from the thesis "A Multiple Intelligences and Competencies Approach Applied to Early Programming Education" by Adorjan, an engineering student in the Master of Engineering (Research Track) program, under the supervision of Dr. Kereki. These exercises are currently being tested in the Programming 1 course for the Systems Engineering program and the Bachelor’s in Systems program.

The competition aims to foster a culture of entrepreneurship and innovation in undergraduate engineering programs through the design and creation of educational and pedagogical tools. Faculty members from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, and Uruguay are participating.
