Publication of the book "Academic Success of Vulnerable Groups in High-Risk Environments in Latin America"

Wolters Kluwer published a book by Dr. Joaquín Gairín (pictured), Visiting Professor in the Master’s Program in Educational Management and Director of the project “Access and Academic Success of Vulnerable Groups in High-Risk Environments in Latin America (ACCEDES),” Dr. David Rodríguez-Gómez, Instructor in the Master’s Program in Educational Management, and Dr. Diego Castro Ceacero, Professor in the Department of Applied Pedagogy at the Autonomous University of Barcelona.

The book was sponsored by Universidad ORT Uruguay.

It contains the following chapters:
- “Design and Development of the ACCEDES Project” by Dr. Gairín.
- “Vulnerability in Higher Education” by Dr. Gairín and Cecilia Inés Suárez, M.A., Research Fellow in the Department of Applied Pedagogy at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB).
- “University Student Enrollment and Graduation in Latin America” by Dr. Rodríguez-Gómez, Dr. Carme Armengol, Professor of Didactics and School Organization in the Department of Applied Pedagogy at the UAB, and Dr. Carme Tolosana, Professor in the Department of Applied Pedagogy at the same university.
