In October 2013, the Council for Technical and Vocational Education at the University of Labor in Uruguay published the book *Pedro Figari: The Campaign Against the Death Penalty* by Prof. Agustín Courtoisie, who teaches Analysis of Journalistic Products, Ethics and Social Responsibility, and Ethics and Freedom of Expression in the School of Communication and Design.
