A chapter by a professor on the agricultural sector's adaptation to climate change was published in the "2013 OPYPA Yearbook"

The chapter "Study on Public Policies and Evaluation of Measures for the Agricultural Sector's Adaptation to Climate Change" was published in December 2013 in the "2013 OPYPA Yearbook," edited by the Office of Agricultural Programming and Policy of the Ministry of Livestock, Agriculture, and Fisheries.

The authors are Dr. Juan Francisco Rosas, Professor of Econometrics at the School of Management and Social Sciences; Ignacio Arboleya, Vice President of the Management Committee of the Uruguayan Cooperative Center; Dr. Miguel Alberto Carriquiry, of the Department of Economics at Iowa State University; Valentín Picasso, Engineer, faculty member at the Faculty of Agronomy and the Interdisciplinary Center for Climate Change and Variability Response at the University of the Republic; Hugo Licandro, Engineer, Head of the Rural Area Training Program at the Uruguayan Cooperative Center; and Juan Millán, from the Rural Area of the Uruguayan Cooperative Center.
