Publication of “Collaborative Group Intelligence: A Case Study of a PC Peripheral Failure”

In November 2014, the Latin American Association of Communication Researchers (ALAIC) and the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru published the paper "Collaborative Group Intelligence in the Case of a PC Peripheral Failure" Prof. Agustín Courtoisie, professor of Journalistic Product Analysis and Ethics and Freedom of Expression at the School of Communication and Design, delivered this presentation at the “12th Latin American Congress of Communication Researchers.” The event took place from August 6 to 8, 2014, in Lima.

The topic of his presentation explores how Paul Feyerabend’s philosophy of science relates to issues surrounding new technologies and the latest developments in collaborative forms of intelligence, particularly as they pertain to wiki structures and the participatory use of YouTube.
