The article "Productivity, exit, and crisis in the manufacturing and service sectors," co-authored by Dr. Néstor Gandelman, academic coordinator of Economics, was published in March 2015 in the peer-reviewed journal *The Developing Economies* ( Issue 1, Volume 53), published by Wiley.

The article was co-authored with Carlos Casacuberta, an economist and professor in the Department of Economics at the Faculty of Social Sciences of the University of the Republic.
