Publication of the book *Access, Retention, and Academic Success of Vulnerable Groups in Higher Education: Strategies for Intervention*

In February 2015, the Autonomous University of Barcelona published the book *Access, Retention, and Academic Success of Vulnerable Groups in Higher Education: Strategies for Intervention*, whose authors include Dr. Joaquín Gairín, visiting professor in the Master’s Program in Educational Management and professor in the Department of Applied Pedagogy at the Autonomous University of Barcelona, and Dr. David Rodríguez-Gómez, professor of Organizational Improvement at the Institute of Education.

The study was conducted in collaboration with Dr. Diego Castro and Dr. Aleix Barrera-Corominas, professors in the Department of Applied Pedagogy at the Autonomous University of Barcelona.

The research addresses the issue of inequality in higher education, which remains inaccessible to disadvantaged social groups.
