AutoCAD 3D Online Course

September 7, 2010
On Tuesday, September 14, the "AutoCAD 3D Online Course" began, led by Architect Fernando Montaño. Students who complete the course will receive two certificates: one issued by the ORT University School of Architecture and the other by Autodesk.

The course is 100% online. Two lessons will be posted each week and will remain available for up to 15 days after the course ends. Classes will be conducted via videos posted on the website and tutoring by the instructor. These videos include the instructor’s explanation of each topic and step-by-step procedures for solving all the exercises. The material will be permanently available on the website, so each participant can take the course on the days and at the times of their choosing.

Participants must complete at least 75% of the assigned exercises and submit the final assignment.
Questions should be directed through the Forum or directly to the instructor via email or IP telephony (Skype). This technology allows the instructor and student to interact as if they were in the same physical space.

Architect Montaño is an AutoCAD Technical Designer from ORT University. He is an Autodesk Authorized Writer, a designation awarded by Autodesk USA for his publications and books. Member of the Spanish firm Arquitectura Digital, dedicated to architectural project presentation and education. Full-time professor of Computer-Aided Design at the School of Architecture.

The course is free with a capacity of 20 students. Experience with AutoCAD is required.
