Conference: "New Human Resources Policies to Attract and Retain Young Talent"

November 23, 2011
On Wednesday, November 30, 2011, the lecture "New Human Resources Policies to Attract and Retain Young Talent" was held in the Auditorium of the School of Management and Social Sciences. The lecture was presented by Carlos Stella, Director of Human Resources for Latin America at Tata Consultancy Services. The event was organized by the School’s Graduate School.

The new generations present significant management challenges for modern executives. New employees are increasingly aware of the inherent value of their talents and skills, and they are demanding that organizations adopt new human resources policies—especially in sectors where unemployment is low or nonexistent—that go beyond compensation issues, though they do not overlook them.

The speaker shared his company’s perspective on new management tools, the responsibilities of senior management in recruiting and retaining this new generation of professionals, and how to navigate this new reality.

Mr. Stella holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the National University of Luján, Argentina. He has completed postgraduate studies in Business at the IAE Business School of Austral University, in Quality at the Technological Institute of Buenos Aires, and in Human Resources at the Argentine University of Business. He is a professor of Organizational Analysis and Human Resources Management at the University of Luján.
