Conference on "Taxation in the Agricultural Sector"

On Tuesday, September 23, the lecture "Tax System in the Agricultural Sector (Income and Wealth)" was held in the Auditorium of the School of Business and Social Sciences. It was presented by accountants Nicolás Juan, Federico Camy, and Pablo Segalerba, who are tax specialists. They discussed the tax regime applicable to the agricultural sector in light of this first fiscal year-end under the new regulatory framework resulting from the Tax Reform.


Juan is a member of the Board of Directors of the Uruguayan Institute of Tax Studies and a partner at the law firm Guyer & Regules; he teaches tax law at the School of Business and Social Sciences,

Camy is an associate accountant at the firm Guyer & Regules; she teaches tax law at the School of Business and Social Sciences.

Mr. Segalerba is a manager at the firm Rueda, Abadi & Pereira; Academic Coordinator and professor in the Tax Department at the School of Administration and Social Sciences.
