The Universidad ORT Uruguay men's volleyball team Universidad ORT Uruguay runners-up atthe 15th University Sports Tournament, which took place from April 6 to 8, 2018, with universities from Argentina and Uruguay participating.
The tournament was organized by the University of Montevideo with support from the National Navy, MP, and Planet Travel.
The university also fielded teams in women's soccer, women's volleyball, and women's field hockey, a sport in which it finished in third place in the tournament.
Competing for Argentina were the University of Buenos Aires, Austral University, the University of San Andrés, and Torcuato Di Tella University. Representing Uruguay were the Montevideo Tennis Club, the University of the Republic, the University of the Enterprise, the Catholic University, the University of Montevideo, and Universidad ORT Uruguay.
