The ORT basketball team is the runner-up in the^12th San Andrés Olympics – Jorge Gordon Taylor Cup

The Universidad ORT Uruguay basketball team Universidad ORT Uruguay as runner-up in the^12th San Andrés Olympics – Jorge Gordon Taylor Cup, organized from November 2 to 4, 2018, in Buenos Aires by the University of San Andrés.

The following Argentine institutions participated in the tournament: University of Business and Social Sciences (UCES), National University of Luján, Argentine Air Force, University of San Andrés, and Torcuato Di Tella University. Representing our country were the University of the Republic and Universidad ORT Uruguay.

The university’s team consisted of José Gelos, Rodrigo Luján, Gonzalo Piffaretti, Damián Dufau, Maximiliano Martirena, Javier Medero, Guillermo Wilkins, and Nicolás Zangaro, under the coaching of Alfredo Russo.
