The event features a discussion on the creative processes behind the aesthetic construction in dystopian cinema, using the film *A Bright Future* as a case study.
Through the lens of production, art direction, and costume design, we will explore the conceptual and practical decisions that shape an audiovisual universe, from its conception to its realization on screen.
The film’s producer, art director, and costume designer will participate and share their experiences in the film’s development. The discussion will also address the challenges of film production in Uruguay and Latin America, taking into account industry conditions, available resources, and opportunities for regional development.

Isabel García Arbábal, B.A.She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences from the University of the Republic and a certificate in Audiovisual Production from Universidad ORT Uruguay. She worked in the field of communication and the management of arts and cultural projects at various programs and institutions until 2014.
From then on, she ventured into the audiovisual field as a freelance producer in the domestic film industry. She began her career as a production manager on feature films and documentaries, including *Tracción a sangre* (Sofía Betarte, 2018), *Respirar* (Javier Palleiro, 2018), and *La noche que no se repite* (Manuel Berriel and Aparicio García, 2018). She also worked as executive producer on the documentary series Primera Persona (Federico Veiroj, 2013) and El país sin indios (Nicolás Soto and Leonardo Rodríguez, 2019).
Since 2017, he has co-directed the production company Montelona Cine, devoting himself exclusively to the development and production of its content.

Cecilia GuerrieroArt director in advertising and film. She has been working in the industry since 2006, starting out in commercials and serving as an art assistant on various films, including *Blindness* (Fernando Meirelles), *Miss Tacuarembó* (Martín Sastre), and *Solo* (Guillermo Rocamora).
She continued her career as an art director in advertising, working at production companies such as Oriental Films, La Productora Films, Metanoia Content, and Pardelion Films, for clients including Pepsi, Renault, Nissan, Lego, Asics, Bose, and Bacardi, among others.
In film, she has served as art director on *El tema del verano* (Pablo Stoll), *Agarrame fuerte* (Ana Guevara and Leticia Jorge), *Un futuro brillante* (Lucía Garibaldi), and *Insecta* (Martín Florio). She is currently wrapping up production on *El milagro del surubí* (Lorenzo Tocco).

Dominique SouberbielleCostume designer and stylist. She has been working in film and advertising since 2009.
She has worked as a costume designer on films such as *Clever* (Guillermo Madeiro and Federico Borgia), Al morir la matiné (Maxi Contenti), El asistente (Augusto Tejeda), Agarrame fuerte (Ana Guevara and Leticia Jorge), Un futuro brillante (Lucía Garibaldi), Locos de amor (Miguel Valladares Vives), and El novio de mamá (Nicolás Silbert and Lalo Mark).
He recently appeared in *El milagro del surubí* (directed by Lorenzo Tocco), a film currently in post-production.
