Juan Ciapessoni is a globally recognized visionary, inventor, and serial entrepreneur who focuses on creativity and innovation through the use of applied technology. He was a pioneer in the development of the internet in Uruguay, where he founded one of the country’s first ISPs. Since then, his driving force has been the creation and implementation of cutting-edge and disruptive solutions.

His award-winning solutions include work featured in the permanent collection at MoMA in New York, as well as at SXSW, Fast Company’s World Changing Ideas, NY Festivals, BID, and more than 100 awards throughout his career.
He is the director and vice president of innovation at the Uruguayan Chamber of Information Technology.
His track record as a serial entrepreneur includes founding successful digital agencies, launching a startup incubator, and developing several products in the areas of prototyping, data analytics, and technological innovation that have been brought to market.
