"A ras del agua," an animated short film by Inés Corti and Tamara Kupfer, students in the Bachelor's Degree in Animation and Video Games program, won third place at the Chilemonos Festival in the Latin American School category. The festival took place on May 24, 25, and 26 in Santiago, Chile.
At the same time, the short film has been selected for the Official Selection of the 5th edition of the Amazonía del Plata 2023 festival (Tigre and Quilmes, Argentina), as announced on March 22, 2023.
The Amazonía del Plata Film Festival is a non-competitive festival that grew out of the visual arts and audiovisual exhibition of the same name, held in Tigre (Argentina) in 2019. It seeks to showcase audiovisual works by residents and contexts of river basins, islets, cenotes, meanders, coastlines, and all those amphibious territories resulting from the struggle between aquatic nature and its relationship with civilization.
"A ras del agua" was conceived in the course "Production 4," taught by Prof. Micaela Domínguez, and was completed in the course "Final Integrative Project" in 2022, under the guidance of MFA Alejandro Erramún.
