The Fair is held twice a year and is a collaborative effort between the Special Projects Office, the Software Factory Lab, the Academic Office for the Software Analyst and Information Technology Analyst programs, and the faculty’s Graduate Affairs Office.
The companies presented their project proposals to advanced students in the Systems Engineering, Bachelor of Systems, and Software Analyst programs.
The following companies participated in this event: 4i Soluciones con Ingeniería, Grupo Bitafal, the Uruguayan Chamber of Industries, La Feria Virtual, DotProduct Labs, Ulta Beauty, Renovus Clean Energy Technology, Vexels, the National Union of the Blind of Uruguay, the Teletón Foundation, Gadoban S.A., and BroLi.
The School has been committed to this partnership with industry for over 20 years. This initiative offers companies an opportunity to launch new projects, explore different market niches, or develop prototypes that enable them to identify business opportunities and discover young talent.
Meanwhile, for students, it represents an opportunity to take on new challenges, whether by exploring new technologies or discovering new areas of society where they can make a difference.
