The theme for this year's Fair took a purist approach, focusing on the world of work and the current labor landscape in light of emerging technologies such as Generative Artificial Intelligence.
This is the only university-level event that connects companies with technology professionals. It is aimed exclusively at students and graduates of the college, which has established the Fair as the leading event in the sector for building employer brands and recruiting talent among the most in-demand profiles in the market.
Companies looking to recruit tech professionals find the Job Fair to be the perfect place to engage directly with their target audience.
The information and communications technology (ICT) job market is highly competitive when it comes to attracting talent.
The need to recruit more tech-savvy professionals to drive further growth has led companies to get creative in how they market themselves to professionals and to explore best management practices.
More than 50 companies, both domestic and international, participated in the event.
At around 7 p.m., the award ceremony for the best company—as voted by the students during the event—took place. This year, the award went to Applica Corp, and UKG was also presented with an award for being the Fair’s main sponsor.
