On Thursday, April 18, in the auditorium of the Pocitos Campus of the School of Architecture at Universidad ORT Uruguay, graduates of the short-term programs in Real Estate Brokerage, Interior Design, and Landscape Architecture celebrated the presentation of their diplomas.
A new generation of landscape architects, interior designers, and real estate developers
The event began with welcoming remarks by Santiago Romero, a graduate of the Interior Design Technician program and a senior in the Bachelor of Interior Design program, who thanked the officials presiding over the ceremony for their presence.
Among them is the dean of the School of Architecture at Universidad ORT Uruguay in Universidad ORT Uruguay, Architect Gastón Boero; the academic secretary, Architect Paula Kramer, and the academic coordinators Architect Paula Rial, academic coordinator of the Landscape Design Technician program; Dr. Michelle Fleitas, academic coordinator of the Real Estate Agent program, and Paula Ceretti, B.A., assistant coordinator of the Interior Design program.

Following the presentation of diplomas, the dean, Architect Gastón Boero, thanked the new graduates and those in attendance at the ceremony. “With this new generation of professionals, our academic community is fulfilling the commitment we have made in each of these disciplines to contribute to their professional development,” he said.
In addition, the dean also offered some remarks and reflections on the upcoming challenges facing a new generation of professionals. In this regard, Boero highlighted the importance of paying special attention to new technologies and their integration with traditional knowledge, among other aspects.
The School of Architecture congratulates and celebrates the graduation of this new class of professionals.
