The 21st Century: Education and Ceibal

It includes chapters written by Denise Vaillant, Carina Lion, and Cristóbal Cobo, members of the faculty at the Institute of Education.

To mark the 10th anniversary of the Ceibal Plan, the book 21st Century: Education and Ceibalwas published. The book was coordinated by Jorge Delgado and published by the Department of Educational Technology and Ceibal of the Council for Early Childhood and Primary Education in 2017.

This publication aims to contribute to the improvement of education by exploring the integration of technology.

Dr. Denise Vaillant—academic secretary of the Institute of Education at Universidad ORT Uruguaypresented the chapter titled “New Environments, Learning to Teach, and Digital Technologies.”

Dr. Carina Lion—a professor and graduate advisor at the Institute of Education—titled it “Traces and Challenges: Technologies and Teacher Education.”

"The interplay between content, form, and context" is the topic presented by Dr. Cristóbal Cobo, thesis advisor for the Doctor of Education program.
