Diego Piuma’s startup FrameALIVE—developed in collaboration with Lionel Quataert—was selected as one of the eight most innovative tools nominated for the Wedding & Portrait Photographers International (WPPI) trade show, which took place February 24–28 in Las Vegas.
FrameALIVE is an app that lets users tell stories by combining photos and videos using image recognition. The technological development of the project, which began its incubation process at theCenter for Innovation and Entrepreneurship and is currently underway at Ingenio, was entrusted to engineers from Barcelona, Venezuela, and Uruguay, and in July 2017 they filed a provisional patent in the United States.
