Professor of Public Accounting Joins IFRS Foundation Advisory Group

Carlo Alzati, a professor of Accounting Theory in the Public Accounting program, has been a member of the International Financial Reporting Standards Foundation (IFRS) advisory group since April 2014.

Professor Alzati is the only member of the advisory group from Latin America. The purpose of this advisory group is to assist and provide a forum for consultation and technical review where members can contribute to the development of the IFRS Taxonomy.
