During his visit, he collaborated with Dr. Tiho Ancev, Professor of Agricultural and Resource Economics, on their joint research projects, as well as with other researchers working on related topics.
The visit took place from February 2 to 15 and was part of the academic exchange activities organized by the Center for Australian Studies. He also presented his paper “The assessment of economic and environmental impacts of water use efficiency and farm practices through an economic and biophysical integrated model”—co-authored with Franco Frabasile (research assistant in Economics at the School of Management and Social Sciences), Dr. Tiho Ancev, Dr. Miguel Carriquiry (full professor, Grade 5, at the Faculty of Economic and Administrative Sciences of the University of the Republic), and Andrés Saracho, M.Sc. (lecturer, Grade 2, in Hydrology and Hydraulics at the North Coast Regional University Center of the University of the Republic)—at the seminar series of the Sydney Institute of Agriculture at the University of Sydney.
In addition, he attended the 68th Annual Conference of the Australasian Agricultural & Resource Economics Society (AARES), where he presented two papers he authored (as previously reported). The conference took place from February 7 to 9 in Canberra, Australia.
