Faculty members participate in the Evaluation and Monitoring Committee

Mariela Questa-Torterolo and Claudia Cabrera Borges were selected to serve on the Evaluation and Monitoring Committee for the Education Sector Fund’s “CFE Investiga” program (2023 call for proposals).

The National Agency for Research and Innovation (ANII) fund aims to provide funding for research projects that generate original findings regarding teaching methods and professional practice in the field of education, lifelong learning, digital technologies, and learning environments, as well as other teaching and learning contexts.

Mariela Questa-Torterolo holds a Ph.D. in Education from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (Spain). She has a Master’s degree in Educational Management from Universidad ORT Uruguay a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from the University of the Republic (Uruguay).

Today, in addition to serving as the associate academic coordinator for the Master’s in Educational Management and the Master’s in Teacher Training, she is a member of the faculty at the Institute of Education at Universidad ORT Uruguay. She is also a Level I researcher in the Social Sciences, subfield of Educational Sciences, within the National System of Researchers (SNI).

Claudia Cabrera Borges holds a Ph.D. in Education and a Master’s degree in Education from Universidad ORT Uruguay. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences from the University of the Republic (Uruguay) and is a certified biology teacher, having graduated from the Florida Teacher Training Institute. 

She is a professor and instructor at the Institute of Education at Universidad ORT Uruguay, as well as a professor of biology and biology education at the Center’s Regional Teacher Training Center. Finally, she is a researcher at the introductory level in the Social Sciences field, specifically in the subfield of Education Sciences, within the National System of Researchers (SNI).
