Academics presented papers at an international conference

Martín Pereyra and Flavia Roldán presented papers at the 6th Conference of the Latin American and Caribbean Network on the Economics of Innovation and Entrepreneurship (RIE 2022) in Santiago, Chile.

Dr. Martín Pereyra, Accreditation Coordinator at ORT’s School of Business and Social Sciences, and Dr. Flavia Roldán, Professor of Microeconomics and Associate Academic Coordinator of the school’s Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, presented papers at the 6thConference of the Latin American and Caribbean Network on Innovation and Entrepreneurship Economics (RIE 2022), held in Santiago, Chile, on November 11 and 12, 2022.

Pereyra presented the paper “How Does Public Support for Innovation Affect Cooperation Between Firms? Evidence from Uruguay,” co-authored with Dr. Roldán, Dr. Liliana Gelabert, professor of economics at IE Business School in Spain, and Dr. Santiago Acerenza, an economics researcher at ORT.

Meanwhile, Roldán presented the paper “Public Support Prevalence and Innovation Behavior: Uruguay 2007–2015,” co-authored with Dr. Pereyra and Dr. Gelabert.
