Dr. Lorena Betancor, a research professor in Biotechnology, Dr. Fernando Paganini, a professor of Telecommunications Theory —both from the School of Engineering—and Dr. Nicolás Gambetta, academic coordinator of the Graduate Programs in Accounting and Taxation at the School of Administration and Social Sciences, received the Science Award granted by the Directorate for the Development of Science and Knowledge of the Ministry of Education and Culture (MEC).
In addition, Daniela Hirschfeld, the university’s coordinator of Content and External Communications, participated in the event as the host and interviewer for the Café Científico segment. The event was attended by the Minister of Education and Culture, Dr. María Julia Muñoz, along with other national officials.
The event took place in the gardens of the National Museum of Visual Arts on December 6, 2018.
