The current regulations issued by the Ministry of Education and Culture (MEC) for universities establish capacity limits and restrictions on attendance that have not yet been amended, despite the decline in pandemic-related figures in recent weeks.

Until the authorities issue a statement modifying the protocols applicable to universities, ORT will continue to offer various formats for delivering classes—as it has done throughout the pandemic—with the aim of protecting the health of its community and ensuring the continuity of learning for all students.

In the second half of 2021, which begins on Monday, August 16, the return to in-person classes will take place gradually, while always adhering to the protocols and decisions of national authorities.

Accordingly, the format of the classes has been determined taking into account regulatory restrictions and the current health situation.

The gradual return to in-person classes will be adjusted throughout the semester based on decisions made by national authorities and in accordance with developments in the health situation.

For this initial phase, priority was given to resuming in-person classes for first-semester students and for courses that require the use of laboratories, equipment, and/or hands-on training.

The administrative offices of each college will keep students informed about the class format that applies to each of them based on the courses they have registered for.

All students will be informed about the next steps in the return to in-person classes as the health situation and the authorities allow.
