Following the award of Full International Institutional Reaccreditation, the University of Boyacá extends its greetings to Architect Boero

The University of Boyacá in Colombia is celebrating a significant milestone with the award of Full International Institutional Reaccreditation, a recognition that validates its 44 years of educational excellence.

The award, presented by the International Network of Evaluators (RIEV) —based in Mexico and of which Architect Gastón Boero, dean of the School of Architecture at Universidad ORT Uruguayin Uruguay, is a member —highlights the university’s capacity for adaptation, transformation, and innovation.

According to the media outlet Boyacá 7 Días, this process, which spanned more than 13 years, was initiated under the leadership of Dr. Rosita Cuervo Payeras, then president of the university.

The commitment to international accreditation, based on workshops and meetings, has led the University of Boyacá to achieve the expected standards. In addition to International Institutional Reaccreditation, the institution was recognized as a model university for its high quality standards.

In this context, the University of Boyacá thanked architect Gastón Boero for his valuable participation in this process. Reaccreditation is a testament to the university’s commitment to the generation of knowledge, the training of competent professionals, and its positive impact on society.
