New Agriculture in Uruguay: Lecture Series at Universidad ORT Uruguay

To mark the tenth anniversary of the launch of its agribusiness academic programs, the School of Business and Social Sciences is organizing a series of lectures.

The series begins on Thursday, March 10, at 7:00 p.m. in Room 223 on the Pocitos Campus with the lecture "Uruguay's New Export-Oriented Agriculture: Networks and Partnerships That Add Value to a Commodity Business."

The event will be led by Javier Aznarez, director of Agroterra.

Mr. Aznarez will discuss the challenges of competing in the global grain market from Uruguay, emphasizing the importance of developing new ways to coordinate among the various stakeholders involved in the production, logistics, and marketing chain.

Admission to the conference is free, but space is limited.
