Outstanding alumni, academic excellence, and entrepreneurial spirit were recognized at the ninth annualMBA Dinner hosted by Universidad ORT Uruguay.
On October 26, 2017, as the sun was setting, the Golf Club was getting ready with live music to welcome more than 150 members of the alumni community.
The Dinner is an occasion for reunion, celebration, and networking that has grown year after year, thanks to the collective efforts of its members. There, the community celebrated the achievements of the MBA program and the entire Graduate School.
In addition, as part of the ongoing effort to improve management quality in Uruguay, the most outstanding members of the community were recognized, and awards were given for academic excellence and the best business plan.

Recognition from the alumni community:
Noelia Copiz received the Alumni Community Award after being selected by the Board and receiving the most votes from MBA graduates.
The founder and director of Via Sono expressed her pride in the recognition and emphasized the importance of connecting with a purpose. She stated, “We must have a clear purpose in order to remain resilient when difficult times arise and passionate when things are going well.”
Academic excellence:
The award for academic excellence was presented to Juan Pablo Saibene.
Best business plan:
The award for best business plan was presented to Eduardo Lewy, Miguel Rossi, and Juan Pablo Saibene.
A more engaged generation:
The award for the most engaged class went to the class of 2015.
