Architects' Day and its celebration in the context of World Architecture Day
In 2023, Architect's Day is celebrated as part of World Architecture Day, observed on the first Monday in October. Every year—since 1985—on this day, the International Union of Architects (UIA) has commemorated this occasion to highlight the responsibility that architecture professionals have in the development of cities and settlements.

This year’s theme, “Architecture for Resilient Communities” highlights the importance of designing spaces that are not only aesthetically pleasing, but also functional and sustainable.
