Advancing in a Company or Starting Your Own: A Lecture at Universidad ORT Uruguay

On December 2, the Faculty of Engineering hosted a lecture titled "Life Choice: Climb the Corporate Ladder or Start My Own Business? Opportunities, Threats, and Risks. Essential Support in the Early Stages."

The conference featured:

  • Luis Silva, Ph.D., associate professor of management at the School of Engineering, Universidad ORT Uruguay;
  • Ángel Caffa, Ph.D., Associate Professor of Systems Architecture at ORT;
  • Enrique Topolansky, B.A., project coordinator at ORT’s Information Systems Research Laboratory (LISI).

The technology pre-incubator was also unveiled at the School of Engineering. It is a comprehensive initiative designed to encourage and support the creation of new businesses.
