What is a diagnosis, what are its characteristics, why is it important, who is typically involved, and how and when to conduct a diagnosis—these are some of the questions addressed in the chapter “Framework for a sector-by-sector assessment of equity in higher education institutions” addresses.
At the same time, it focuses on how to assess equity in higher education and presents various successful examples of initiatives aimed at promoting equity.
