On June 5, 2019, officials from the School of Design at the Faculty of Communication and Design received, from representatives of the José Pedro Varela Pedagogical Museum—Director Marisa Castro and Elizabeth Brites, Elizabeth Brites, a plaque expressing gratitude and recognition for the School’s responsiveness to a call issued by the museum to implement technology-mediated approaches that bring novelty and appeal to the presentation of content to the public, especially for content aimed at young people and children.

This challenge was presented to students in the Bachelor’s Degree in Multimedia Design program, under the creative direction of Professor Fabián Barros, Ph.D., who is a professor of Multimedia and Digital Arts and the academic coordinator of Design, Art, and Technology.
As a result of the students’ work, a creative and technological installation called Pedagomedia was created in mid-2018, along with a smaller-scale version of this exhibition for Museum Night 2019.
