Biolube was approved for funding by ANII

The startup, founded by Camila Tub Caplan and Serrana Pérez Paradiso, graduates of the Biotechnology Engineering program at Universidad ORT Uruguay, was selected for funding by the National Agency for Research and Innovation (ANII) in its call for proposals for Innovative Biotechnology Entrepreneurs.

Biolube is a startup focused on cosmetics designed for women's intimate health and beauty. It is currently in the pre-incubation phase at the CIE BIO Biotechnology Incubator, supported by the Biotechnology Research and Innovation Center (CBI+I), the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CIE) at Universidad ORT Uruguay the Technological University of Uruguay (UTEC).

The ANII call for proposals funds and promotes the creation and development of new or early-stage biotechnology companies that aim to commercialize innovative products or services.
